Volcano Vaporizer
The Volcano Vaporizer is a sophisticated form of vaporizer that consists of a heater base that incorporates controls for managing the flow of air and the temperature. It has applications in aromatherapy as well as culinary uses and is also popular with individual users looking for a legal high, as it involves heating various plant products, usually herbs, to almost combustion point and inhaling the vapour given off.
A heat-proof bag with a set of valves to control dispersal is used to collect the vapour, and the plant material itself is heated up in a connecting chamber. The bag is detached from the base once the process has completed and its valves are used to inhale or disperse the vapour collected in it.
The Volcano Vaporiser, with its sophisticated design and sets of valves for controlled release of the vapour, is just one example of the range of vaporizers on the market. At the other extreme are cheap vaporizers such as hand-held vaporizers, which are handy for carrying about as well as easy on the wallet.
The hand-held vaporizers are so simple that you could probably make one yourself, but so cheap that you don’t need to. The hand-held version consists of a glass bowl in which the plant or herbal product is heated up using any handy flame such as a lighter, whilst maintaining a rotary motion until vapour fills it; the vapour is then inhaled by means of a small mouthpiece which is attached to the bowl.
