Iolite Vaporisers
Some experts recommend a Iolite or iolite vaporiser as the ideal alternative to consuming smoke from herbal highs, without having to resort to using nicotine and tobacco. The vaporiser heats the substance being consumed to a sufficient temperature that allows the toxic substances of the herb to be filtered so that the smoker only inhales the less harmful vapours emitted by the herb being smoked.
Unlike the volcano vaporiser, the Iolite is portable and it can be carried in the pocket or handbag. Iolite vaporisers are also a lot cheaper than volcano vaporisers. They operate by using butane as a heat source and a chamber within the vaporiser filters the herbal or aromatic product, butane is the same gas used to fuel lighters. Once the gadget has achieved the heat needed for it to work a light will come on and then you know that the Iolite vaporiser is ready to use.
The manufacturers recommend that the vapours the Iolite vaporiser emits should be inhaled in a similar fashion to conventional pipe smoke, slowly. The casing of the vaporiser does sometimes get hot but this shows that the catalytic heater inside the body of the Iolite is working efficiently. The gadget also takes a couple of seconds to expel air after it has been switched off which is perfectly normal.
