Where to Find Tobacco Tins

Tobacco tins are the best way to keep your tobacco and collection of herbs fresh and ready to enjoy.  A good tin comes with an airtight seal that keeps humidity out and allows the product to remain moist, aromatic, and just as if it was freshly harvested.  No matter where you live, there are ways to find tins of this type, and enjoy years of service from your purchase.

If you live in an area where smoking paraphernalia like glass or acrylic bongs, including the multi-pipe bongs, are readily available, there is a good chance you can walk into several retail establishments and find a decent selection of tobacco tins.  Just about all types will have a metal casing, although some may be covered with a wood veneer or even leather on the exterior, adding some visual interest and style to the function of the device.  Generally, you will find several options in different price ranges, making it relatively easy to find something that is within your budget.

For people who cannot walk into a smoke or head shop and peruse a selection of tobacco tins, there is always the option of shopping online.  A number of retail sites that carry basic smoking supplies such as rolling papers and flints will also have containers that are designed to keep tobacco fresh and moist.  This option often allows you to consider a wider selection in terms of size and design.  You may even find an online store that provides free shipping if your order is over a certain amount.

Along with online and local retailers, don’t forget to look in out of the way places, such as antique stores and thrift shops.  Treasures are often found among the collections of odd pieces, including the occasional airtight tobacco tins.  You may even find three or four tins that you can purchase for almost nothing, allowing you to use the tins as decorative and functional items around the house.

Decorative Tobacco Tins

Part of making sure you enjoy your legal highs to best effect involves keeping your stash fresh.  One of the best ways to manage that task is by purchasing a good quality tobacco tin.  While function is important, that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun with the look of the storage device.

There are plenty of options when it comes to decorative tobacco tins.  You can go with a commercially designed model that is made entirely of lightweight metal, and painted in just about any colour you can imagine.  Depending on your preferences, you can go with a decorative tin that is in a subdued colour and fits neatly into a jacket lapel, or go with a tin decorated with a country scene or a wild print of some type.  Like many things in life, you can be just as conservative or as outlandish with the look of your tin as you like.

Keep in mind an attractive looking tin does not have to cost a lot of money.  In fact, you can sometimes find interesting tins that are just right for your purposes at thrift and charity shops, as well as on sale at some smoke shops.  Take your time and look around before making your selection and you’ll stand a good chance of saving a bit of money that you can use to purchase more filler for the tin.

Don’t forget that you can always customise the look of your tin.  Buy an older tin that has seen better days, but is still capable of sealing properly and keeping your blends of tobacco and herbs fresh.  Then, use your own paints, decals, sequins, or whatever suits your purpose and create the look you want.  These one of a kind tobacco tins are a lot of fun to create, plus have the advantage of always being easy to find when you have need of them.
