The desire to have the most pleasurable of smoking experiences whenever you use herbal materials to induce legal highs has contributed greatly to the current popularity of the bong. This is one of the most popular ways for enjoying the legal highs produced when smoking natural herbs and plant materials. As a result of this growth in popularity, you can now find thousands of bongs on the market.
Here are a few suggestions of what you should look for when trying to select a bong for enjoying your legal high. Take your own personal preferences into consideration when you are looking at the different aspects of this.
Bongs are manufactured from a variety of materials today, but the most common two are acrylic or glass. However, you can also find ceramic and wooden bongs as well. (Here’s a hint: if you are prone to dropping things, stay away from ceramic or glass bongs.)
They are available in a wide variety of designs, shapes, and sizes so it is wise to choose one that fits comfortably in your hand as well as being easy to light and smoke. Again, if you are a bit on the clumsy size, you want to consider a bong size that you can handle without fear of dropping it and breaking it.
Finally, consider how the bong is going to be used. In other words, will you be primarily the only person smoking it or will you be intending it for group use, or both? If it is going to be primarily used in a group setting, we suggest a multi-pipe bong.

A hookah pipe is an instrument used to smoke tobacco through a water chamber, which cools and filters the smoke. The hookah can have a single hose for a single user or multiple hoses. Multi-pipe bongs or hookahs are a great idea for an event or social occasion.
The hookah originated in India and is part of the culture throughout the Middle East but recently it has gained popularity in Europe, Australia, North America and Brazil. One of the more popular hookahs types is known as the Malabar hookah and comes from the city of Koyilandy.
The hookah has a number of alternative names: in Arabic the pipe is referred to as a shisha and this is the most common name used in the Persian Gulf states. Meanwhile, Islamic countries close to the eastern Mediterranean such as Turkey, Cyprus, Jordan and Syria enjoy a narghile. In Croatia and Albania the hookah is a Lula, while in Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina the pipe is called a nargile.
Hookah pipes are most common in the Arab world, where the smoking of flavoured tobacco has entered their tradition and culture. It is estimated that Arabs are the biggest users of shisha pipes worldwide. Nearly all cafés offer shisha smoking and the cafés are the centre of Arab social life, being likened to the bars and pubs in the Western world.
Because of the increase in smoking bans across Europe and North America, many hookah cafés have begun to offer a smoking experience by using non-tobacco mu’assel, a mixture of molasses and honey.
Most individuals who enjoy getting high legally by smoking natural herbal and plant materials are familiar with enjoying their herbal mixture by using a bong. These special smoking devices are characterised by a hollow, long cylinder with a sealed end and an open end for inhaling the smoke. They are usually supported by a base that is normally a continuation of the material that the bong is constructed from.
Multi-pipe bongs are an upgraded version of the standard bong and have the advantage of being able to facilitate multiple smokers at the same table without having to pass it around. These types of bongs are an excellent device for parties and social gatherings. Up to four smokers can enjoy a multi-pipe bong. Multi-pipe bongs have become extremely popular with teenagers and college students who enjoy smoking legal herbs.
Another advantage of using a bong of this nature is that you do not need to pass it around like a standard bong. In fact, if you just want to leave it set in the centre or your table your guests can still enjoy smoking the herbal mixture without having to pass it from one person to the next.
In addition to the exterior pipes, there are also channels of pipes in the bong’s interior chambers. These channels of pipes also serve to filter out any of the impurities resulting from the smoke. The typical multi-pipe bong is made from glass. However, other materials have proven to be a viable choice for many individuals as well. These other materials include acrylic, ceramic, metal, and even wood. Again, the type of material is a matter of personal preference.

It’s always advantageous if you have the budget to afford an exceptional acrylic or glass bong to enhance your legal high experience. Smoking your herbal mixture through a bong is not only a more pleasurable experience compared to smoking blunts, the water used in the device serves as a cooling agent and an impurity filter. It is without question a healthier way to get high legally. Bongs, however, can get pretty pricey depending on the material they are constructed from and how ornately they are designed.
If you don’t have the budget to purchase a bong, why not make your own? It’s fairly easy to do as not a lot of talent is required to make one, depending on how unique you want it to look. In some instances, you can find the materials to construct it out of just by searching through items in your home. You also have the option of visiting some smoke shops and purchasing the separate materials necessary, or you can shop online for a homemade bong kit and instructions.
You would be surprised at the number of sites online that offer information on building your own bong. In addition to the instructions, many of these sites offer illustrations and even videos showing you the step-by-step process. Just beware that there are some sites that charge you a fee for the instructions and/or the information. The bottom line is that this is a great idea for a DIY project if your budget won’t allow you to purchase something more lavish.

Also known as a water pipe, a bong is a device designed to make it easy to smoke various types of tobacco, herbs and other forms of plants. The idea of the water pipe has been around since ancient times, and is found in a number of cultures. During the middle of the 20th century, the bong became associated with smoking marijuana, with the result that many people today have no idea that the device is used for smoking other products as well.
The basic design of a bong includes a long stem that is usually known as a slide, a bowl shaped section that is equipped with some type of screen, and a bowl where the dried matter that is to be burned is placed. The general construction is such that it is possible to use water as a filtering agent, removing many of the more harmful elements found in different types of tobacco and other plants.
A traditional material for the bong is bamboo, which is relatively easy to shape into a long section of pipe with the bowls located at the end. However, over the years, all sorts of materials have been used to create bongs. Today, it is possible to purchase glass bongs as well as bongs made using different types of plastics. While there is some difference of opinion on whether an acrylic bong works as well as a good old fashioned wooden water pipe, it is relatively easy to purchase pre-assembled bongs online, or buy kits that allow you to custom design your own special bong.

There are numerous types of vaporizers available on the market today, all of which have numerous applications. Where the smoking of legal herbs is concerned, the type of vaporizer is usually determined by the type of heating and delivery methods that each one employs. However, all of them vaporize the plant material so that it can be smoked and enjoyed. The following is a breakdown of the two heating and the two delivery methods that are typically used.
Direct Conductional Heating – the classic, more common glass dome type vaporizers work by placing the plant material on a small plate (usually metal) where it heats up sufficiently and starts vaporizing the material. This method is referred to as ‘direct’ because you place the plant material directly onto the heating element.
Indirect Conductional Heating – this is considered the superior technique employed for vaporizing the plant materials because it never directly touches the heating element. Hot air passes over the material causing the active ingredients to be released.
Direct Lung Delivery – inhaling from this type of vaporizer involves heated air passing through the plant material which is then inhaled directly into the lungs. Since the vapour is not stored, you inhale a larger quantity of vapour.
Stored Vapour Delivery – when using this vapour delivery method, the plant material is heated until the vapours form. It is then stored in a balloon type of chamber or glass bowl for inhalation. The difference between this method and the direct lung method is that you cannot inhale as large a quantity of smoke. In other words, it results in a smaller ‘hit.’
The word bong is an adaptation of the word “baung” (Thai) and refers to a cylinder or tube manufactured from acrylic, bamboo, glass, or wooden materials. It is a smoking device that is oftentimes referred to as a “water pipe” which is typically used to smoke a variety of substances such as herbal or natural substances, marijuana, tobacco, or some other substance (controlled or otherwise). It is similar in construction to a hookah. The function of either a bong or a hookah is analogous since they produce very similar results when using them.
Bongs are usually constructed from a variety of designs and materials. However, they are classified as air and water tight vessels featuring a screened bowl and occasionally a slide or stemmed apparatus to be more specific. Interestingly enough, bongs have a long and storied history in that they have been in use for centuries among the Laotian Hmong culture and in Thailand. The earliest recorded use of the word appeared in 1944 in the McFarland Thai-English Dictionary.
Additionally, this dictionary defines the Thai word baung (bong) as being a water pipe constructed from bamboo and used for smoking a variety of substances (controlled or otherwise). These substances include hashish, hemp, or kancha according the January issue of “Marijuana Review” published in 1971. Smoking legal herbals and/or marijuana using a bong is said to have a cooling effect because of the use of water. This is one of the key features when using this device instead of rolling the substance like a cigar or cigarette.

Vaporizers typically operate using a heating element where plant material is heated and not burned, in order to produce a vapour that can be inhaled. In addition to the heating element factor, there is usually a thermostat in order to control the temperature. Be aware that some of the higher end models of vaporizers can cost several hundred dollars in the US.
Vaporizers are typically classified by the way in which the plant material is heated. There are 3 primary ways in which the material is heated.
Convection – there is never any contact with a heating element because hot air is passed through the material which is heated rapidly, allowing the active ingredients to be released in the process.
Thermal Conduction – this type of heating involves setting the plant material on a metal plate, heating the plate to a temperature which is high enough to vaporize that material, before releasing the active ingredients.
Thermal Radiation – this type of heating method involves the use of bright light where the plant material’s temperature rises due to the fact that the material is absorbing the radiant energy of the light source.
Where the quality of the vapour is concerned, there have been very few reviews or studies which have significantly addressed this particular issue. Instead the usage focus of the device has been centred on what each vaporizer type is being used for. Be aware that vaporization with a number of plant materials occurs just prior to the material’s flash or ignition point.
Keeping your vaporizer clean is important, especially if you plan on sharing it with others. For this reason, it is a good idea to clean the device after each round of use. Fortunately, the cleaning process is relatively simple, since a vaporizer produces vapour and not smoke.
While it is possible to clean a vaporizer without breaking down the components, it’s not the best approach. Residue can collect at the points where the pieces join together, something you want to avoid. In addition, if you are using a vaporizer that comes with an electronic base, you will want to be careful about using any type of cleanser on that particular part of the device.
For the bowl, stem, and mouthpiece, using a mixture of water and rubbing alcohol will normally remove any residue left from the plant mixture, and also disinfect the mouthpiece. One approach that works well for many people is to apply the mixture, then rub with a clean cloth. To make sure there is no alcohol left behind, use a second round of plain water, then dry thoroughly.
If the idea of using rubbing alcohol puts you off, you can use white vinegar instead. Vinegar does not have the disinfectant properties of the alcohol, but does do a decent job of removing residue.
Depending on what the pieces are made from, you may also be able to use other cleaning agents. Before experimenting too much, consider contacting the manufacturer and find out what they recommend in the way of cleaners. This will help minimise the chances of using something that damages the pieces, and renders the vaporizer inoperable.
